Gene Kirby, Owner E-mail Gene Kirby
Gene and his wife Jennifer are the owners of Superior Home Improvements, LLC, purchasing the business from Dave Field on May first, 2007. Gene has a degree in Construction Management and has over 30 years experience in the construction industry. Gene and Jennifer have two children Sarah, and Ryan. Gene and family have called Dodge City home for the last 20 years. They met in Liberal and were married in Liberal, Kansas. Dave Field built this company on a strong moral foundation and a belief that to give the customer the best possible product that they could afford was always the right thing to do. Gene strongly agrees with this philosophy. Superior strives to always offer superior products, superior quality, and superior service, in all that we do.
David Field, Sales Representative E-mail David Field
Dave sold his first siding job in 1979 for the original owners of Superior. Eventually buying the business in 1981, Dave owned and operated both Superior Fence and Supply Co. and Superior Home Improvements until 1992 at which time he sold the fence company in order to direct his full time and attention to growing the siding and window business. Operating the business until he sold it to Gene and Jennifer Kirby in 2007, Dave now functions in a sales position where he is able to devote his 29 years of experience to the customer. Dave resides in Dodge City with his wife Rhenda. He is active in his local church and enjoys hunting, fishing, and golf when time allows.
Bob Hembree, Sales Representative E-mail Bob Hembree
Bob began as a home improvement sales representative in1994 and joined Superior Home Improvements in 1997. He has lived in Garden City since 1991. You will see Bob at the Garden City Home Show and Ulysses Spring Fling. Bob was raised in Ness City, Kansas, is married, has one son, and two granddaughters.
Scott Werner, Sales Representative E-mail Scott Werner
Scott has lived in Southwest Kansas all of his life. He grew up in Jetmore, but moved to Cimarron where he finished high school. After attending Dodge City Community College on a track scholarship, Scott tried following his dream of being a carpenter which led to installing siding, windows and doors in 1996. Scott owns a home in Spearville, and has been working non-stop remodeling it. His wife, Sabra, is a fourth grade teacher at Spearville Elementary. They both keep busy with three rambunctious boys, Travis, Wyatt, and Blake. When we are not working on the house, they enjoy doing “boy things”, and love to travel. Scott has been with Superior Home Improvements since 2003. Originally hired as an installer, he started working in the office in 2005 doing scheduling and measuring of windows and doors. His experience and product knowledge allow him to reccommend the best solutions for any project.
Gilbert Gonsalez, Sales Representative E-mail Gilbert Gonsalez
Gilbert has 11 years experience in the siding industry both installing and selling. He has been with Superior Home Improvement for the last five years. Gilbert works in the office with our contractors, customers, and distributors scheduling the jobs and managing our warehouse. Gilbert is bilingual in Spanish and English. Gilbert also enjoys selling as time permits.
Richard Gardemal, Sales Representative E-mail Richard Gardemal
Richard brought 15 years of in-home sales experience when he joined the Superior Home Improvements team. He also spent 10 years building and remodeling custom homes in northeast Texas. Richard enjoys working with homeowners to design their dream projects in either windows, siding, roofing, or any aspect of home improvements.
Danny Harper, Salesman/Roofing Coordinator E-mail Danny Harper
Traveling throughout the United States, Danny settled in Dodge City in 2008 when he began working for Superior Home Improvements. Danny has ten years of experience in different phases of construction with five of those years focused on roofing. After working a short time as warehouse personnel for Superior Home Improvement Danny was promoted to work in Superior’s roofing addition.
